Sunflower is a powerful 2200W infrared patio heater designed to provide directional radiant warmth in outdoor spaces. How It Works

Sunflower uses infrared radiation to transfer heat directly from the carbon fibre heating element to people and objects within its effective heating zone. Unlike conventional convective heaters, infrared heat does not need to warm the surrounding air first, making it particularly effective for open or semi-covered outdoor areas.

Smart Heating & Controls

The Sunflower offers two heating levels to suit different conditions. H1 provides 1100W of heat for milder conditions, while H2 provides the full 2200W output when maximum heating is required. The supplied remote control allows you to switch heat levels, operate the timer and activate the control lock.

The integrated countdown timer can be set from 1 to 24 hours, automatically switching the heater off when the selected time has elapsed. Wi-Fi connectivity also allows the heater to be programmed and controlled using the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app.

Design & Installation

Sunflower can be used as a free-standing patio heater with its adjustable tripod or installed permanently using the supplied wall-mounting bracket. The tripod support can be adjusted between 1000mm and 2000mm, while the heater head can be tilted to direct infrared heat toward the desired seating or working area.

For outdoor use, the supplied 3.0kg water bag must be filled and attached to the tripod to provide stability. The tripod should always be placed on a flat, stable surface and should not be operated in storm-force wind conditions.

For wall-mounted installation, the heater must be securely fixed to a suitable wall by a competent person. The wall structure must be capable of supporting the heater and bracket, and care must be taken to avoid concealed electrical cables, water pipes or other services.

Warranty

The Sunflower patio heater is supplied with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, subject to the warranty terms and conditions. The warranty covers manufacturing defects accepted by the authorised warranty centre. Consumable components such as heating tubes and batteries are excluded from warranty coverage.

To maintain warranty coverage, the heater should be used, installed and stored in accordance with the instructions provided in the user manual.

Outdoor Use & Care

Although Sunflower is designed for outdoor use and is rated IPX4, it should not be left exposed to heavy rain or direct sunlight for extended periods. During heavy rainfall, it is recommended to store the heater indoors or under cover. When not in use, use the supplied storage cover to help protect the heater from prolonged UV exposure, moisture and dust.

Always disconnect the heater from the mains and allow it to cool fully before cleaning, maintenance or adjusting the heater head. The heater should not be operated where standing water is present in or around the base.
